Brando's January 2010

"...the band ...WOW!!  Javier (Director/voice) and Vivian (voice) provided us with a selection of classic and new songs that kept us in our feet for the duration of the show....a great bunch of talented musicians appealed to the Latin American Village friends and Non-Latinos at Brando's.
It was great not to drive far away for a taste of the Latin beat!
GRACIAS!"

6 Degrees Early Salsa New Year (2009)

Salsa New Year's came early to Six Degrees Tuesday Night as 600+ turned out to revel.

But New Years paled in comparison to the big news of the evening.

...The other surprise was a new band that rocked the place down to its foundations. Los Homeless, a nine piece group of musicians including one from the late La Mezcla, a Humber College student band.

Two long sets included: La Vida es un Carnaval; Idilio; Que Manera de Quererte; Embrujo de Armor; Devorame Otra Vez; Obsesion; Pedro Navalja; Suavemente; Paso la Vida Pensando; Mi Tierra. Second set: Un Monton de Estrellas; Que Locura Fue Enamorarme de Ti; Rebelion; Son de la Loma; Una Adventura; Voy Palla; Caballo Viejo; Amores Como el Nuestro; La Bilirrubina; Moliendro Cafe; Besitos de Coco.

One song ran right into the next through the entire set, so this seemingly long long song kept them dancing throughout each set.
